Allworth Financial is seeking a professional to perform equity trading and research for modeled client portfolios. The role involves discretionary trading decisions, tax-aware gain/loss considerations, cash deployment, and position trimming within the equity team’s framework.

You will also conduct ongoing equity research on assigned sectors, monitor earnings and company developments, and screen names for potential inclusion or removal from model portfolios.

Qualifications

• Three to seven years of experience in equity trading, portfolio implementation, or investment operations with direct trading responsibility.
• Ability to demonstrate judgment in trade decision-making beyond simple order entry.
• Understanding of tax-aware trading considerations, including gain/loss realization and cost basis.
• Series 65 or equivalent licensing preferred, or the ability to obtain it.

Responsabilités

• Trading and Portfolio Implementation: Execute account-level rebalancing to target models and manage tax-aware gains/losses.
• Equity Research: Cover assigned sectors, monitor earnings and catalysts, and screen names for model portfolios.
