Job summary

Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, NJ seeks an Associate Director of Equal Opportunity & Deputy Title IX Coordinator to lead AA/EEO compliance and Title IX investigations. This is a full-time managerial role in higher education.

Reporting to the Director of Title IX and Institutional Compliance, the Associate Director will advise on complex employee and student matters, promote equitable processes, and collaborate with campus partners to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or J.D. required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AA/EEO laws and Title IX.

Responsibilities

• Monitors compliance with AA/EEO laws and educates campus communities.
• Investigates and resolves Title VII and state discrimination, harassment, and hostile work environment complaints.
• Prepares detailed investigation reports and makes recommendations on dispositions.

Education

Master's degree in higher education, law, human resources, public administration, or a closely related field; or a Juris Doctor (J.D.)
