Job summary

Boutique investment bank in New York seeks an Institutional Equity Sales Assistant to support its sales desk and client outreach. You will help with client requests, research launches, and event coordination while maintaining CRM records.

The role requires 1–3+ years in relevant equity-related fields, strong communication, and organization. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is essential; Bloomberg/FactSet experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1-3+ years of relevant experience in institutional equities, equity research, sales and trading, corporate access, investor relations, investment banking, asset management, or a comparable client-facing financial-services environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong professional judgment and discretion.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and able to manage competing priorities with consistent follow-through.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, CRM systems, broker-vote tools, or corporate-access platforms is a plus.
• Ability to build effective relationships across Research, Sales, Trading, Corporate Access, Capital Markets, and Investment Banking.

• Maintain accurate CRM records covering client interactions, research readership, meeting participation, investment interests, coverage assignments, and follow-up activity.
