Job summary

Truist Wealth in New York is seeking an experienced equity research professional to publish proprietary content and provide sector expertise for institutional clients. You will build industry and company models, draft research commentary, and coordinate with Capital Markets and Sales to leverage research products.

The role requires a BA/BS, multiple FINRA licenses, 4+ years of related experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Licenses: SIE, Series 7 (or prior to Oct 2019), Series 63, Series 87, Series 86 or CFA II waiver.
• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
• Mastery of financial and accounting concepts for in-depth models.
• Advanced written and oral communication and teamwork.
• Strong analytical and sales skills.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Publish proprietary equity research content with stock recommendations to institutional clients.
• Conduct due diligence and provide industry expertise for capital markets equity transactions.
• Initiate C-suite corporate access resources for institutional clients (non-deal roadshows, conferences, field trips).
• Conduct independent industry assessments and company research reports.
• Engage with high-level corporate relationships (CEO, President, CFO, etc).
• Collaborate with senior analysts in research production and publication processes.
• Build industry and company models with forecasts and valuations.
• Perform financial and valuation analyses and develop investment ideas.
• Write research commentary drafts and support equity product utilization by sales/trading.
