Job summary

Qualifications

• MD/PhD in biology or chemistry (or related life sciences) strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years related work or internship experience.
• Strong writing skills required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong accounting and financial statement analysis skills.
• Capable of building computer generated financial models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Internet searches and MS Office products.
• Ability to summarize complex information clearly.
• Commitment to satisfying internal and external customers.
• SIE, Series 7, 63, 86, 87 required within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and validate data on quality growth companies and conduct fundamental research.
• Develop and update financial models and statistical data for security analyses.
• Prepare internal and external reports, notes, and investment ideas.
• Visit companies and attend events to build information sources.
• Communicate investment ideas and respond to inquiries from clients and colleagues.
