U.S. Bank seeks a Vice President to support its Equity Research team in the Energy and Infrastructure space. The role involves assisting a Senior Analyst, conducting primary research, and building detailed financial models to evaluate companies and themes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in equity research or investment banking, with a strong passion for energy and infrastructure, and excellent communication skills to draft reports and interact with management teams and investors.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees valued but not mandatory
• 5+ years of equity research or investment banking experience preferred
• Interest and passion for energy and infrastructure sectors
• Strong work ethic, creative problem-solving and detail orientation
• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to meet tight deadlines

Responsabilidades

• Construct and maintain sophisticated financial models to support company analysis and investment themes
• Monitor and communicate sector developments, news flows, and company events to senior analysts
• Design and execute primary research, including surveys and interviews, to gather proprietary insights
• Draft and contribute to comprehensive research reports with updates and initiation coverage
• Develop and sustain relationships with company management, industry contacts and investors
