Job summary

Morgan Stanley in the United States is seeking an Associate in ISG Equity Operations to provide first-class service and break resolution for clients across multiple products. You will partner with Prime Brokerage Trade Support, Prematch and Fails teams, and senior management to maintain a high-quality front-to-back operations workflow.

The role requires knowledge of the full trade flow, experience drafting procedures, and a proven ability to deliver projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience with the full trade flow from execution to settlement.
• Ability to prepare team procedures and assess/implement team controls.
• Proven track record of driving project initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute processes/functions and support process management and project efforts across systems, markets and instruments.
• Identify risk in day-to-day processes and highlight issues for remediation.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and share knowledge to improve team output.
• Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding solution development and timely execution.
• Liaise with global stakeholders and various operational groups.
• Plan and organize project initiatives and team testing.
• Provide reporting/information to management and key stakeholders.
• Manage client-related processes such as trade amendments and reporting within set timescales.
• Ensure procedures are accurate and up-to-date; adhere to controls and client requests.
• Contribute to improving process efficiency through root cause analysis.
