Madera Community College, part of State Center Community College District, is building an applicant pool for part-time Education instructors to support diverse student populations. The pool is continuous recruitment; positions arise as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s in education or a valid California CC credential (or equivalency) and be equity-minded, collaborative, and capable of coordinating fieldwork placements with K-12 partners.

Qualifications

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equity-minded teaching practices.
• Master’s in education or valid California Community College Credential or equivalent education/experience (equivalency).
• Ability to teach Education courses and coordinate fieldwork placements with K-12 partners.

Responsibilities

• Teach Education courses on campus and/or at off-site locations as assigned.
• Coordinate fieldwork placements for students in K-12 settings.
• Utilize varied pedagogies and technology for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
