Job summary

DRW in Chicago seeks an experienced Equity Index Options Voice Trader to price and execute equity index options while managing risk in fast-moving markets. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, quants, and tech teams to identify opportunities and improve execution.

The role requires a strong background in equity index derivatives, volatility, and market dynamics, with the ability to adapt quickly and maintain disciplined risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience trading listed equity index options.
• Strong understanding of equity index options pricing, volatility, Greeks and microstructure.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Price, negotiate, and execute equity index options transactions globally.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers and liquidity providers.
• Identify relative value, volatility and macro-driven trading opportunities.
• Manage option portfolios including delta, gamma, vega and risk exposures.
• Monitor market developments and volatility regimes affecting equity index options.
