Job summary

DRW in Chicago seeks an experienced Equity Index Options Voice Trader to price and execute listed options across global markets while managing risk in fast-moving environments.

You will collaborate with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, and technology teams to identify opportunities, refine pricing models, and improve execution workflows, maintaining disciplined risk controls and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to translate data into trading decisions.
• Experience with fast-moving markets and real-time decision making.

Responsibilities

• Price, negotiate, and execute listed equity index options across global markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, institutional counterparties and liquidity providers.
• Identify relative value, volatility, and macro-driven trading opportunities.
• Actively manage option portfolios, including delta, gamma, vega, and other risk exposures.
• Monitor market developments, economic events, and volatility regimes that influence equity index options markets.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers to improve pricing models, execution tools, and trading workflows.
• Provide feedback on trading systems, analytics, and risk management tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute new trading ideas and strategies that enhance the team's performance.
• Maintain disciplined risk management while operating in highly competitive markets.
