The Washtenaw Intermediate School District seeks a School Social Worker to evaluate, plan, and implement services for students in special education programs. You will assist in data collection for program development and work with classroom staff, related services staff, and parents to implement supportive programming.

The role emphasizes equity, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with families and schools to address student needs and educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work required.
• Minimum 500 clock hours supervised practicum.
• Experience with virtual online instruction and technology.
• Licensure as a social worker in Michigan preferred.

Responsabilités

• Advise and plan supports for students in IEP processes.
• Collaborate with staff, families and agencies to coordinate services.
• Promote equity and trauma-informed practices in school programs.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in district meetings.
