Washoe County School District seeks a licensed school counselor to implement a comprehensive, equitable counseling program for PK-16. The role focuses on academic, career, and personal/social development, delivering direct and indirect services and collaborating across school and community partners.

The counselor will use data to guide planning, support restorative practices, and advocate for equitable access to rigorous education for all students, including crisis response when needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in school counseling or related field from a regionally accredited college.
• Possession of Nevada educator license with school counselor endorsement or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in comprehensive school counseling programs is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver academic, career, and personal/social development services.
• Establish and implement a comprehensive school counseling program based on model standards.
• Provide direct counseling services and small-group/individual sessions.
• Collaborate with staff and community to support students and families.
• Use data to identify needs and guide program planning.
