Job summary

Indianapolis Public Schools seeks an Employee Performance & Compliance Coordinator to ensure district-wide evaluation compliance and ADA accommodation processes. You will guide supervisors to align with policies and federal/state laws, while supporting equity goals.

You'll work with the Equity and Employee Relations teams to analyze trends, provide training, and maintain confidential records with rigor and integrity.

Qualifications

• Confidential handling of sensitive information and records.
• Clear, persuasive presentations to diverse audiences including leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication for legal and frontline staff.
• Ability to resolve complex problems with composure.
• Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, EEOC and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff evaluation compliance district-wide for certified and classified staff.
• Collaborate with Professional Learning and stakeholders to align evaluations with PD.
• Train stakeholders on evaluation procedures, ADA compliance, and equitable practices.
• Assist ADA Coordinator with accommodation conferences and legal obligations.
• Manage background checks for current employees for safety compliance.
• Review evaluation data with Equity Manager to support IPS equity goals.
