Job summary

Flying Horse Capital is seeking a President & CEO to lead a Chicago-area manufacturing business with a hands-on sales approach and strong operational discipline to drive profitable growth.

The role requires full P&L responsibility, ownership-backed decision-making and the ability to build a high-performing leadership team while partnering with patient capital to scale the business for long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience including P&L ownership as a President, CEO, GM or division head.
• Manufacturing, industrial products or related B2B experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to drive organic revenue growth.
• Experience in lower-middle-market, founder-led, family-owned or privately held businesses.
• Track record building or transforming a sales organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the company’s P&L and set its strategic direction.
• Develop and execute a multiyear growth plan in partnership with ownership.
• Represent the company with customers, employees, suppliers and the community.
• Lead capital allocation decisions across capacity, equipment, technology and talent.
• Lead organic revenue growth through direct customer engagement and leadership of the sales organization.
• Deepen existing customer relationships and expand share of wallet.
• Identify and win new customers across markets, industries and geographies.
• Improve pricing strategy and margin management.
