Job summary

Connect Search, LLC invites an experienced leader to become President for a PE-backed manufacturing platform in the Chicago area. You will own the P&L, drive strategy, and lead growth across commercial, product, and organizational development.

With 6–12 years of management experience in manufacturing and an MBA, you will build the commercial engine, oversee budgets and KPIs, and develop talent while expanding into new markets domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 6 to 12 years of management experience with P&L responsibility in manufacturing.
• Commercial orientation with a track record of generating new revenue.
• Strong people leadership and financial management skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Connect Search is partnering with a Chicago-based private equity firm to identify a President for a portfolio manufacturing platform based in the western suburbs. Ownership takes a long-term hold approach and is investing in equipment, product expansion, and scale.

The Opportunity

The business has a strong brand and loyal customers. The President will lead the platform, build its commercial engine, and drive the next phase of growth.

What You'll Do

• Own the P&L, budget, forecasts, and KPIs

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred
