Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems is seeking a Data and Analytics Architect to define and evolve the enterprise data architecture that enables analytics, governance, integration, and AI‑driven capabilities. You will partner with business and technology teams to modernize data platforms and deliver scalable data models and products.

You will lead architecture decisions across domains, mentor delivery teams, and ensure the data strategy aligns with long‑term business objectives while meeting regulatory

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Strong data modeling and database design skills.
• Experience with Lakehouse or Medallion data warehouse architecture.
• Experience with APIs, messaging, and event-driven integration.
• Understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead architecture decisions across domains.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve modern data architectures using Medallion, Lakehouse, and scalable data platform principles.
• Establish architecture standards, governance practices, data contracts, and design patterns.
• Define and enable trusted data products that support analytics and AI-driven capabilities.
• Lead data modeling and data contract strategy across key business domains.
• Partner with stakeholders to align investments with outcomes and regulatory requirements.
• Drive data platform modernization and integration strategy using APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Set KPIs and measurement frameworks for data-driven decision making.
• Mentor distributed engineering teams and promote best practices.
