Glendale Community College in Glendale, California seeks an equity-minded Real Estate Instructor for a full-time tenure-track position in the Business Division. The role emphasizes student success, mentorship, and culturally responsive teaching in onsite, online, and hybrid formats.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s or higher with real estate experience (or an associate’s with six years) and a qualifying license or certificate, contribute to curriculum, governance, and equity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher and two years of real estate experience with required license/certificate.
• Or an Associate’s degree and six years real estate experience with required license.
• Equivalent qualifications may be considered.
• Desirable: two years of real estate work experience.
• Experience teaching Real Estate and knowledge of law, selling, escrow, finance, property management.
• Commitment to equity and serving underrepresented students.

Responsibilities

• Teach Real Estate courses using various methods in onsite, online or hybrid formats.
• Maintain attendance, census, grades, and office hours.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program policy.
• Participate in campus governance and professional activities.
• Support equity initiatives and student success.
• Work toward program outcomes aligned with GCCD’s mission.
