Job summary

Oak Park Elementary School District 97 is seeking an experienced Instructional Coach to support teacher capacity, eliminate opportunity gaps, and accelerate learning through research-based practices and differentiation.

The coach will work with classroom teachers, lead professional learning, and collaborate with district teams to ensure equity is at the center of instructional services. This role emphasizes data analysis, PLCs, and technology integration to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Classroom teaching experience (minimum of 3 years) required.
• Instructional coaching experience preferred.
• Experience with 1:1 learning environments preferred.
• Experience in integrating technology into instruction with differentiation and personalized learning required.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive and supportive relationships with teachers, administrators, and staff.
• Design and facilitate professional learning on effective instructional practices, including data analysis, differentiation, and technology integration.
• Collaborate with teachers to support implementation of Illinois Learning Standards (CCSS & NGSS) through modeling, coaching, co-teaching, feedback, and PLC support.
• Support district instructional efforts with emphasis on differentiation and personalized instruction, including the 1:1 iLearn initiative.
• Recommend resources to align professional learning with high-priority needs; participate in district and school leadership activities.
• Attend district-wide instructional coach meetings and provide data-driven insights for improvement.
