Ideal candidates have 2–6+ years in public equities, strong AI/tech sector knowledge, and proven financial modeling and thesis

We are partnering with a global investment platform looking to add an Investment Analyst focused on Artificial Intelligence, Technology, and Hard Tech to its public equities team.

The firm operates across multiple asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, and private investments, with a global investment mandate. The investment team takes a fundamental, long-term approach, focusing on identifying high-quality businesses with attractive growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental research on publicly traded companies across AI, TMT, and Hard Technology.
• Identify and develop investment opportunities across global public equity markets.
• Build detailed financial models, analyze industry trends, and assess company fundamentals, competitive positioning, and valuation.
• Develop differentiated investment theses and present actionable recommendations to senior investment professionals.
• Conduct primary research through management meetings, expert calls, and industry analysis.
• Monitor existing portfolio investments, earnings developments, and relevant market trends.
• Collaborate with investment professionals and quantitative research resources to enhance investment analysis.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2-6+ years of experience in public equities, ideally within a hedge fund, long-only asset manager, or equity research platform.
• Strong understanding of AI, Technology, Semiconductors, Software, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in fundamental research, financial modeling, and investment idea generation.
• Ability to independently develop and communicate high-conviction investment theses.
• Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a long-term investment mindset.
• Comfortable working within a lean, collaborative investment environment.
• US citizenship or permanent residency preferred.
