Job summary

Point72 is seeking a data-driven analyst to support its Fundamental Equities business in New York. You will analyze diverse data, build predictive models, and develop automated data pipelines to inform investment decisions.

The role requires an undergraduate degree or higher, strong quantitative and coding skills (Python/R), and experience with data visualization and Git for collaborative development.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or higher.
• Quantitative ability demonstrated via coursework or work experience.
• Experience with structured, unstructured (text) and time-series data.
• Strong statistical concepts applicable to large-scale data analysis.
• Strong coding skills in Python or R; familiarity with Git.
• Data visualization skills using Python or R.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; translate questions into data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Help analyze a broad universe of Compliance-approved data to influence ideas and investment decisions in equities.
• Design, build, and maintain data products and predictive models for KPIs and forward-looking metrics.
• Investigate innovative approaches to extract meaningful information from complex datasets.
• Develop agile, automated systems that ingest, synthesize, and analyze data in real-time for actionable insights.
• Optimize and scale data infrastructure for performance and reliability.
