Job summary

Coda Search Staffing is partnering with an institutional trading technology firm to hire an Associate, Electronic Equities Execution & Coverage. The role requires hands-on electronic equities trading experience and steady Stamford attendance of at least three days per week.

The position sits in a hybrid environment in Stamford, CT with base salary target of $150–$180K plus possible equity options. You will monitor live algo flow, diagnose execution, tune strategies, and drive client-facing

Qualifications

• Hands-on electronic equities trading experience required.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. equity market structure, venues, routing and auctions.
• Understanding of execution algorithms and parameter impacts.
• Data-driven with ability to interpret TCA outputs.
• Execution-focused role with client coverage and business development.
• Background in 2–6 years of relevant electronic trading experience.
• Licensure (SIE, Series 7, 63, 57) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee live algo flow and monitor client orders across the U.S. equities session.
• Diagnose execution behavior across strategies, venues, order sizes, and conditions.
• Tune algo strategies with clients and coordinate changes with research/product.
• Run TCA and translate findings into execution consulting discussions.
• Share market structure insights on liquidity trends and venue behavior.
• Handle incidents during sessions and manage risk for clients.
• Grow the business with onboarding and account growth alongside coverage lead.
