Job summary

Southeast Trench Safety is seeking a dependable Yard Technician to maintain an orderly yard and assist customers with equipment check-in/check-out, along with basic operation guidance. You will stage gear for deliveries and help with loading and unloading at client sites as needed.

Work occurs on construction yards with heavy machinery; follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and contribute to a collaborative, safety‑minded team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have good organizational and communication skills.
• Must be customer service orientated.
• Valid State issued Driver’s License.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision – Self-Motivated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for rent by cleaning with a power washer.
• Ensure proper PPE apparel is worn while in the yard.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Provide customers basic training, as needed.
• Stage equipment for deliveries.
• Maintain proper yard organization.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard.
• Make small deliveries/pickups to client site and/or retailer using a pickup truck when requested.
