Job summary

Austin Industries is seeking General Laborers for the North Phoenix, Arizona equipment yard to support daily operations, equipment movement, and maintenance. You will assist with loading, unloading, and staging construction equipment and materials in a fast-paced yard environment.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions while contributing to efficient yard logistics and meeting project needs. This is an on-site position with physical labor expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 100 pounds
• Commitment to safety procedures and guidelines
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Previous experience in construction or yard operations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operation and organization of the equipment yard
• Load, unload, move, and stage equipment and materials
• Clean, fuel, and prepare equipment for use, delivery, or return
• Perform basic inspections and report issues or safety concerns
• Support mechanics and yard staff with basic tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free yard and assist with inventory tracking
