Equipment Warehouse Operative

Reporting To: Warehouse Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

Basic Function: Responsible for receiving, order filling, and shipping functions with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping to meet daily goals and objectives.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving and verifying documentation, SKU numbers, quantities, and quality from vendors
• Stocking products from vendors and plants into bulk locations
• Consolidating products with the same SKU numbers in bulk locations
• Pulling bulk products and placing them in pick zones
• Consulting with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues
• Retrieving specified products from pick locations for shipping
• Transferring cartons from shipping lanes to pallets for loading
• Maintaining department quality and productivity standards
• Operating power industrial equipment as certified
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Role

• Thorough knowledge of safety expectations and ability to support resolution of complex problems
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with a diverse staff
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in manufacturing or distribution environment
• Basic computer skills and understanding of distribution operations
• Ability to read, comprehend information, and accurately count inventory
• Comfortable working at heights (3-level modules)
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and climb stairs
• Flexibility to work overtime with little notice
