Job summary

X-fab Texas Inc in Lubbock, TX is seeking an Electronic/Electro-mechanical maintenance professional responsible for the repair, maintenance and qualification of process equipment in the assigned area. You will interface with Production and Engineering to resolve equipment and production issues.

The role requires root-cause analysis of wafer-related problems, documenting work, and supporting Manufacturing and Equipment Engineering as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and qualifying process equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to interpret electrical, plumbing and pneumatic schematics.
• Training in safe handling of process gases and chemicals may be required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and qualify process equipment in assigned area.
• Interface with Production and Engineering on equipment issues.
• Identify root causes of wafer breakage and equipment-related problems.
• Document work as directed and assist Manufacturing and Equipment Engineering as needed.
