Job summary

TestEquity LLC is seeking an Equipment Technician to clean, repair and maintain all equipment in a production environment. You will learn set-up procedures, handle hazardous materials, and contribute to safety and productivity improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic/electrical systems, and a strong eye for detail. This is an on-site role based in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance and repair experience.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and plumbing.
• Knowledge of 55-gallon ram pumps and piston fillers a plus.
• Working knowledge of accident prevention practices.
• Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Time management skills.
• Attentive to detail.
• General knowledge of safety and accident prevention practices.
• Positive team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain and repair all equipment in a production environment.
• Understand proper machine set-up and operation.
• Understand operating procedures and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Continually improve equipment to maximize safety and productivity.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment.
• Assist production workers to troubleshoot and setup equipment when necessary.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once and work well with all co-workers.
• Attain required qualified training hours per fiscal year.
• Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality.
• Manage other duties as assigned.
