Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Surveillance Technician to install and maintain casino surveillance systems in our Las Vegas properties. The role requires hands-on work with cameras, monitors, recorders, and related equipment, with emphasis on reliability and security.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of related experience, formal electronic training or certification, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Knowledge of cabling, tools, and MS Office is preferred.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of related experience, preferably in a casino setting.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Formal electronic schooling, training, or certification. Surveillance manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to obtain/maintain licenses as required by local gaming regulations
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency
• Must be able to ascend ladders and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Description

Responsible for the installation and maintenance for all surveillance systemcameras, monitors, recorders and related equipment.

• Install and maintain enterprise level surveillance systems and componentswith minimal direction or instruction.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance of surveillanceequipment
• Prioritize, organize, and lead small teams and/or projects
• Provide training to lay personnel or junior team members
• Utilize common hand tools, power tools, and simple test equipment tomaintain and repair surveillance equipment and systems
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 3 - 5 years of related experience, preferably in a casino setting.
• Formal electronic schooling, training, or certification. Surveillancemanufacturer certifications preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team.
• Extensive knowledge of various types of cabling infrastructure, includinginstallation techniques
• Electronic, electrical, and mechanical aptitude
• Proficient in use of command hand and power tools as well as testequipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; must be able to maintainstrict confidentiality
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and understand sense of urgency
• Must be able to ascend ladders, carry equipment up to 50 lbs, sit, stand,walk for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/orlicenses as required by local gaming regulations
