Marki Microwave, based in Morgan Hill, California, seeks an entry-level Equipment Engineering Technician to support production and development. You will learn to operate, maintain, and program manufacturing equipment while developing technical skills on the job.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, strong communication, and a proactive mindset. Work includes equipment setup, calibration, and collaboration with engineers and operators in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college or technical coursework preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or lab environment; relevant coursework or hands-on experience considered.
• “RF or electronics industry experience is a plus, but not required – training provided.”
• Excellent communication, proactive problem reporting, and clear documentation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of basic production equipment (microscopes, hot plates, ovens, hand tools, etc.).
• Track and perform preventive maintenance and calibration schedules for production, reliability, and test equipment.
• Coordinate with repairmen and vendors for scheduling maintenance and calibration.
• Train machine and equipment operators on new/current processes as assigned.
• Cross-train technicians on equipment operation, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Create operator procedures for new processes and machinery.
• Utilize and maintain 2D CAD for drawing references.
• Assist in operating production equipment and programming automation for similar products.
• Support engineering in production and prototyping, including experiments and tests.
• Maintain capital equipment upkeep for production and R&D.
• Perform basic electrical tests under engineering/technician supervision.
• Use MS Office to track PM schedules and document processes.
