Job summary

MARKI MICROWAVE LLC in Morgan Hill, CA seeks an Operator Level 1 to assemble products under a microscope with precision. You will read and follow drawings, use small tools, and apply epoxy for staking while ensuring quality and safety.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to work eight hours with good dexterity. On-the-job training may be provided as needed, with opportunities to join a growing RF/microwave team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college is preferred.
  • Ability to work eight hours under a microscope with hand tools; good dexterity.
  • Proven experience as assembler.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Develop speed and accuracy in all aspects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, safety management, and controls and instrumentation.
  • May perform On-the-Job training, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products using microscope and small hands tools.
  • Follow instructions on assembly/outline drawings, bill of materials, and work instructions.
  • Using dispenser to manually apply epoxy for staking.
  • Mechanical assembly using small power tools.
  • Ensure production equipment stays in good condition and notify leads if problems arise.
  • Communicate with leads, technicians, supervisors, and management when issues, malfunctions, or non-conformances arise.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Meet production output requirements while maintaining high quality.
  • Conduct in-line inspection to identify defects and ensure quality.
  • Utilize MES system to efficiently manage tasks.
  • Perform thorough part cleaning using spray gun and ultrasonic equipment.
  • Ability to conduct handling hazardous materials safely.
  • Install mechanical assemblies such as connectors, spacers, screws, and washers.
  • Identify types of epoxies and follow instructions on which type to use.
  • Assemble cores and conical coils using tweezers and microscopes.
  • Perform final cleaning on all products using cleaning chemicals such as IPA.
  • Print/attach labels, pack finished goods, and ensure accurate counts.

JOB SUMMARY

As an Operator Level 1, you must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc., and follow them with precision is extremely important.
