Job summary

MDMARTIN LLC seeks an Equipment Technician I for our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on the manufacturing floor.

You will document maintenance activities, assist in installations, and support junior technicians while following safety policies. A high school diploma is required, with 1+ year of relevant experience; an associate degree or related certification is favored.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate degree or certification in electronics, mechanical, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in equipment maintenance or repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with a variety of tools and equipment, including diagnostic and testing instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
• Provide support and guidance to junior technicians and assist in their training and development.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiency through proactive maintenance strategies.
