Mooring Recovery Services, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Technician to deploy, operate, and maintain equipment safely during restoration and catastrophe response projects.

You will represent Mooring with professionalism while delivering exceptional service to clients in fast-paced environments. Based in the DFW area, you will perform maintenance on complex mechanical and electrical equipment, travel as needed, and support field teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Knowledge of construction equipment with an understanding of schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Must own tools applicable to position; Mooring USA will assist with high-priced tools.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs and greater than 45 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to travel on short notice for extended periods of time.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical equipment, generators, dehumidifiers, and diesel systems on rental equipment and tools.
• Maintenance on the Mooring USA fleet, Trucks, Vans, Trailers; oil changes, registrations, inspections.
• Must be able to travel at a moment's notice for weeks at a time.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; maintain service vehicles in a clean, professional manner.
• Setup electrical distribution and monitor on location until the emergency job is completed.
• Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) FULLBAY Program daily.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Based within our DFW operations team, this position requires the ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where priorities can change rapidly. Equipment Technicians are responsible for supporting operational objectives, maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards. Success in this role requires sound judgment, technical aptitude, resourcefulness, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with field teams under demanding conditions.

• Maintenance on the Mooring USA fleet, Trucks, Vans, Trailers. Oil Changes, registrations, Inspections.
• Must be able to travel at a moment's notice for weeks at a time.
• When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicles in a clean and professional manner.
