The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Tech for Per Diem Rotating shifts in the OR Clinical Support team. Most shifts will be Nights, with opportunities to pick up additional evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing inspections, calibrations, and repairs, while following safety standards and regulatory requirements. Onsite at 75 Francis Street with rotating shifts and potential for varied hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years' experience in equipment maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and specialized software.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

Job Summary

Equipment Tech - Per Diem Rotating - BWH OR Clinical Support

Schedule: most shifts will be Nights with opportunity to pick up additional evening and weekend shifts.

• Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of various types of equipment used in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, telecommunications, and more.
• Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance, longevity, and safety.
• Identify equipment Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot complex equipment issues, coordinate of faulty parts.
• Calibrate and test equipment to ensure accuracy, precision, and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements while working with equipment.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance and repairs.
