Job summary

FinishWorks is seeking a mechanically inclined Equipment Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial paint and coating application equipment. The role involves working with customers and the sales team, both in our facility and at customer sites, with travel as needed.

You will diagnose and repair equipment, provide solutions to customers, and contribute to a safe, organized work environment while supporting inventory and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer-owned coating application equipment.
• Perform equipment repairs both in our facility and at customer locations.
• Assist customers and sales personnel with equipment-related questions and solutions.

Join the FinishWorks Team! FinishWorks is seeking a mechanically inclined Equipment Technician to join our growing team in Shipshewana, Indiana. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial paint and coating application equipment while providing exceptional support to both customers and our sales team.

What We're Looking For

• Forklift experience or willingness to complete training.
• Industrial maintenance, equipment repair, automotive repair, or similar technical experience.
