Job summary

onsemi's semiconductor fabrication facility in Syrcause, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join our team. You will create procedures and perform preventative maintenance across multiple toolsets, collaborating with process engineers to bring up and qualify tools for manufacturing.

You will track tool uptime and ensure safety, quality, and cleanroom standards. The role requires an associate degree in a technical field, 8+ years of experience, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar job function.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for process/equipment interactions.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of tool sets of at least two areas: MOVCD reactor, DUV photolithography, etch, thin films, etc.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience with wide bandgap materials is desired.

onsemiis excited to share the base salary range for this position is $25.53-$44.76 per hour exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
