Job summary

onsemi's Syracuse, NY fabrication facility is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to support preventive maintenance, tool qualification, and process integration for multiple toolsets. You will collaborate with process engineers to bring equipment online and maintain uptime in a high-precision cleanroom environment.

The candidate should have an associate degree in a technical field and 8+ years of related experience, strong diagnostics, and experience with MOVCD reactors or DUV

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar job function.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for process/equipment interactions.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of tool sets in at least two areas: MOVCD reactor, DUV photolithography, etch, thin films, etc.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience with wide bandgap materials is desired.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $25.53-$44.76 per hour exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
