Equipment Technician# **Job Description:****Job Overview**The Equipment Technician will be responsible for safely cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and maintaining appropriate par levels for each department.**Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Walk and or stand for long periods of time* Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff* Appropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectant* Able to read par sheets and inventory levels* Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes* Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Operate pushcart for transporting equipment* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures* Stop at risk behavior of others and self* Perform work assignments in a team with other employees* Perform repetitive tasks* Maintain clean work area* Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules* Take direction and respond to supervision* Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner* Fill in during staff shortage* Support shift lead in completing punch-list items* Use proper personal protective equipment* Present a professional appearance and conduct* Understand customer service and satisfaction* The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.* Understand reporting systems, and of the environment**Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
