Job summary

Inspire Brands, Inc. seeks an equipment data & configuration specialist to support evaluation, testing, and integration of systems that enhance restaurant operations.

You will collect and analyze specification, performance, service, and space-planning data, identify trends, and prepare findings for leadership review. You will collaborate with operations teams, franchisees, and suppliers to research equipment opportunities, coordinate tests, and develop clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of data analysis, equipment operations, or related experience in QSR or hospitality.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office and basic dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Follow approved testing processes for equipment tests (ETAP).
• Support development of equipment systems meeting criteria; gather requirements and document findings.
• Maintain and analyze equipment specification data (dimensions, utility, performance, cost).
• Analyze equipment issue data from franchisees and suppliers; identify trends and escalation when needed.
• Perform field observations and time-and-motion studies to map workflows and improve throughput.
• Conduct capacity and space-planning analyses for equipment projects; draft layouts and recommendations.
• Coordinate equipment tests with vendors and franchisees; manage plans and data quality.
• Build recurring reports/dashboards; communicate findings to leadership.
• Research market developments; prepare comparative analyses of equipment opportunities.
• Create job aids and training materials for new equipment systems.
