Job summary

Tommy's Enterprises Companies is seeking an Equipment Support Technician to assist franchise partners with on-call mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of car wash equipment. The role supports Tier 1–3 levels and includes either 1st or 2nd shift (2-10pm).

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a pathway for internal growth within a family-oriented culture across nationwide locations. Training is provided to master all equipment used in Tommy’s Express systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Mechanical/Network/Automotive background.
• Experience working within a technical helpdesk environment.
• Experience with low/high voltage electrical and hydraulics a plus.
• Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Process-oriented with strong collaboration across departments.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload; strong problem-solving and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical troubleshooting tasks virtually over phone/email/chat with clear communication and client service focus.
• Create, respond, and track service requests via the ticketing system daily.
• Monitor and manage assigned support requests using established procedures.
• Review and investigate equipment/operator manuals to develop solutions.
• Escalate issues through the proper chain of command when outside scope.
• Help build a knowledge base by learning documentation with teammates.
• Communicate progress and status of tickets to requesters and internal teams.
• Participate in training and development opportunities as assigned.
• Attend multi-week internal training to learn all car wash equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change.
