Tommy's Express is seeking an Equipment Support Technician for the 2nd shift to provide on-call mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for car wash equipment. You will handle tickets via phone/email/chat, guide customers, and learn equipment in depth to resolve issues efficiently.

The role requires a technical background, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset, with opportunities for growth within a family‑oriented culture and nationwide presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years in mechanical, network, or automotive fields.
• Experience in a technical helpdesk environment.
• Experience with low/high voltage electrical and hydraulics is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Customer care oriented with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues via phone/email/chat with clear guidance.
• Create, respond to, and track service requests daily.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot using established procedures.
• Review manuals to develop solutions.
• Escalate issues when outside scope.
• Assist in learning documentation and build knowledge base.
• Communicate progress to requester and internal team.
• Attend training and development courses.
• Other duties as assigned; changes may occur.
