Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Associate I in Field Service Operations within the Engineering function. You will partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges, support key initiatives, and achieve business objectives.

This role involves on-site service installations, maintenance, inventory management, and returns processing. You will lead complex assignments and projects, driving improvements while ensuring compliance with SOPs and GxP.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • 2 years of Relevant Experience.
  • Hospital/OR or clinical environment experience.
  • Fluent reading/writing in English.

Sr. Associate I, Field Service Operations (Professional Path)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges, support key initiatives, and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide operational support for service installations, case management, preventative maintenance activities, inventory management, and returns processing.
  • Lead complex assignments and special projects, developing innovative solutions and making critical decisions that drive operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure efficient execution of daily operations through strong attention to detail, effective communication, organization, and task management.
  • Utilize analytical thinking, sound judgment, and self-direction to identify opportunities for improving processes, operational performance, and customer support outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring accurate and complete documentation, supporting quality requirements, and completing all required training.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to regulatory compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement while meeting individual and organizational performance objectives.
  • Provide onsite and offsite technical and clinical support at Alcon Surgical sponsored wet lab and trade show events.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Travel – 50%.
What You’ll Bring to Alcon:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 2 years of Relevant Experience
  • Hospital/OR or clinical environment experience
