Job summary

UEC is seeking an undergraduate intern to provide administrative and analytical support to the Equipment Solutions team, assisting with planning, procurement, logistics, and billing for equipment rentals and site services.

You will gain exposure to equipment management software, participate in crane selection and vendor bid processes, and support contracts and consumables purchasing. The internship runs May–August 2027 with hands-on projects and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.
• Currently enrolled as juniors with internship experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction and accepted business practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and analytical support to the Equipment Solutions team for equipment rentals and site services.
• Manage equipment planning and procurement, including processing equipment requests and transactions for internal and third-party rentals.
• Coordinate logistics and billing related to equipment usage.
• Gain exposure to software systems used for equipment management and rental processing.
• Assist with procurement tasks such as receiving support, contract document management, and consumable purchasing.
• Participate in crane selection and sourcing by sizing equipment, evaluating rental options, and soliciting vendor bids.
• Observe equipment facility and construction field operations.
