Altorfer Industries is seeking a Shop Supervisor to oversee the efficiency and discipline of shop technicians and manage field service activity within the territory.

The role requires deep knowledge of construction equipment repair, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and profitability. Compensation includes top-tier benefits and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred with minimum two years management experience in construction equipment service and repair.
• Experience as an Equipment Manager or Service Manager is a plus.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Working knowledge of Caterpillar DBSi, PSQ, SMIS 2 and PSEL.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field service activity in their territory.
• Provide leadership to achieve customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Lead regular meetings to coordinate activities and communicate strategy.
• Manage workflow and scheduling to optimize shop efficiency.
• Oversee repair and reconditioning of machines and components.
• Manage service communications and customer loyalty.
• Manage work orders from opening to invoicing.
• Develop quotes for complex jobs and secure approvals.
• Enforce work rules and company policies.
• Review performance and operations metrics.
• Occasionally participate in sales calls.
• Ensure safety inspections and programs.
