Job summary

Ohio CAT is looking for a Service Utility to perform general duties around the shop and yard, including pressure washing equipment and assisting the Serviceman with mechanical tasks, project management service, pre-delivery inspection, and equipment operation in the yard.

You will also clean mechanical parts, prepare accurate service reports, and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment. This role offers hands-on training and team collaboration in a heavy equipment setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of general mechanical experience required or must have mechanical education without mechanical work experience.
• Knowledge and/or experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment desired.
• Basic knowledge of Caterpillar equipment, engines, and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform various general duties around the shop and yard.
• Pressure wash equipment and assist the Serviceman with mechanical tasks, project management service, pre-delivery inspection, and equipment operation in and around the yard environment.
• Clean mechanical parts and components and accurately complete service reports.
