Flatland is seeking an entry-level Equipment Service Technician to help maintain our fleet of company-owned construction equipment in Odessa, TX. This role offers hands-on training and a clear path to grow into a skilled technician.

You should be mechanically minded, dependable, and eager to learn. Prior experience is not required; we train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Dependable and able to follow instructions.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working around construction and heavy equipment.
• Able to use basic hand and power tools.
• Previous mechanic, automotive, diesel, equipment, or service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a more experienced technician role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled services on company-owned equipment
• Change oil, filters, fluids, and other service items
• Inspect equipment during scheduled services
• Identify and report potential mechanical problems
• Assist experienced technicians with repairs and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Keep service areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Help ensure equipment is serviced on schedule and ready for Operations

This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded, dependable, and interested in learning how to service and maintain heavy equipment. Previous technician or mechanical experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
