Job summary

Flatland Energy Services is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to help maintain and service our growing fleet of company-owned construction equipment. This entry-level role includes hands-on training and the opportunity to develop heavy-equipment maintenance skills.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, change oil and filters, inspect equipment, and assist senior technicians while building records and ensuring equipment is ready for operations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Dependable and able to follow instructions.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working around construction and heavy equipment.
• Able to use basic hand and power tools.
• Previous mechanic, automotive, diesel, equipment, or service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a more experienced technician role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled services on company-owned equipment
• Change oil, filters, fluids, and other service items
• Inspect equipment during scheduled services
• Identify and report potential mechanical problems
• Assist experienced technicians with repairs and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Keep service areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Help ensure equipment is serviced on schedule and ready for Operations
