Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Field Service Technician in Orlando, Florida, to provide technical support for Evergreen filling machines. This role involves installation, troubleshooting, and training of customer personnel. The technician will travel approximately 70% of the time to customer sites.

This position offers a salary range of $32-$36 per hour along with benefits such as medical insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid leave. A high school diploma and strong mechanical skills are required, along with the ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge.

• Valid driver’s license.

Field Service Technician

$10,000 Sign On Bonus

Field Service Technician provides technical service and support for customers who own and operate Evergreen filling machines. The technician is trained and knowledgeable to install, inspect, troubleshoot and service this equipment. The technician also trains the customer’s personnel on proper operating and maintenance techniques to ensure good packing outputs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and controls service activities as assigned to ensure timely customer support and safety, while meeting budgeted goals for productivity and utilization.
• Communicates well with central scheduling, management, other departments and customers.
• Functions as the equipment service technician, advising EPE service management and/or engineering of any problems or situations with models of current or modified design.
• Provides learning experience for both customer and EPE plant personnel on machine operation.
• Learns and grows skill sets and competencies to achieve both business and personal development objectives.
• Meets corporate business and team objectives for antitrust compliance, business information protection, EEO, safety, quality, ethical behavior and learning.
• Performs the job safely within an environment that the technician does not control.
• Maintains high performance of the paper packing equipment to defend against the competition.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications

• Working knowledge to verify inputs & outputs of a PLC and other analog components from HMI (not required to program PLC or troubleshoot PLC programs).
• Experience in operating or maintaining packaging equipment or equivalent in dairy/juice industry.
• Possess a passport for possible international travel or ability to obtain one within the first year of hire.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $32/hour – $36/hour plus benefits.
