Job summary

Sheetz is seeking a dedicated HVAC/mechanical technician to maintain and repair store equipment 24/7. You will work on HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems, handling preventive maintenance and timely repairs to keep stores running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot issues, document resolutions, and coordinate with the Facility Support Manager while adhering to safety and policy standards. Opportunities for growth, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; trade training and Sheetz-specific training are required.
• EPA 608 Certification required or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Experience: No prior experience required, or minimum 2 years hands-on HVAC/mechanical/trade experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store equipment including HVAC, refrigeration, petroleum equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair to minimize parts use.
• Perform preventative maintenance of all store equipment.
• Wash and clean store windows as scheduled.
• Communicate issues to Facility Support Manager and document resolutions.
• Use work order system to manage repairs and close calls.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts for non-stock items.
• Attend meetings, inventories and training; keep certifications current.
• Operate company vehicle per policies and laws.
• All other duties assigned by management.
