Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing offers Equipment Service and Die Service Technician Co-op/Intern opportunities for Summer 2027 across several U.S. locations in Ohio and nearby states.

Students pursuing Electrical or Mechanical programs will gain hands-on experience under a mentor, with opportunities in electrical, mechanical, welding, and facility maintenance. The program provides housing accommodations, paid overtime, and potential full-time opportunities after completion.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Pursuing an associate degree or certificate in Electrical/Mechanical fields.
• GPA 2.5 or higher; current transcript required.
• Minimum 10 weeks; 3 days per week and 4 hours per day.
• Strong hands-on skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in equipment maintenance and maintenance work orders.
• Work alongside a mentor in Equipment Service or Die Service.
• Follow Honda safety procedures and document downtime responses.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary projects across electrical, mechanical, and welding.
• Support repair and inspection tasks across various production areas.
