Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Service Manager in Seattle to oversee the repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment. You will organize the yard, schedule work, and ensure equipment availability for rentals while coaching staff and managing parts inventory.

The role requires extensive hands-on repair experience with self-propelled platforms and lifts, strong planning skills, and a solid understanding of safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment.
• Creates work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs.
• Orders parts and maintains inventory.
• Trains and assists staff mechanics.
• Maintains equipment service records and documents status before/after rental.
• Handles customer complaints about equipment condition or operation.
• Generates various service and inventory reports.
• Bills and closes work orders, files warranty claims.
