Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs is hiring an Operations Supervisor for Equipment and Sanitation in San Francisco. You will oversee E&S staff, ensure sanitation compliance, and manage equipment flow to keep production efficient. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced aviation catering environment.

Strong HACCP knowledge, 1–3+ years in food production, and proven team leadership are essential. On-site work, daily huddles, and a focus on safety and productivity are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in a food production environment.
• Strong HACCP knowledge and food safety regulations.
• Excellent problem solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and production management systems.
• Experience leading teams and managing schedules in manufacturing or distribution.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule E&S staff to meet daily output goals.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Identify bottlenecks, document processes, and implement improvements.
• Oversee equipment and sanitation operations, maintaining quality and timely delivery.
• Run daily huddles to keep the team aligned.
• Enforce HACCP, FDA, USDA, OSHA regulations and proper temperature controls.
• Optimize staffing and schedules to hit productivity and cost goals.
• Implement solutions to improve workflow and reduce waste.
• Ensure flights are catered accurately and on schedule.
• Contribute to special projects and company initiatives.
• Motivate, coach, and develop the team per company values.
